Akhil Raj’s Shanarthi Launched: A Tale of Telangana Culture and Traditio

Akhil Raj is preparing to entertain the audience through his upcoming film Shanarthi and it’s a very traditional drama based on Telangana folk culture and traditions. It’s a project showcasing a young and talented crew team to bring forth a visually striking and heartfelt-themed film. Raj Ganesh Uppunooti, is an associate of filmmaker Sampath Nandi and is shooting this movie in his directorial debut.

Folk artist Naga Durga will be making her very first acting debut as the female lead opposite Akhil Raj. The picture, which is backed by filmmaker Sampath Nandi as a creative force and showrunner, has already sparked significant audience interest. Sampath Nandi has a strong background in tackling rural-themed stories and also has experience with successful film franchises which enhance expectations of this new project.

Shanarthi will be jointly produced by Sampath Nandi Teamworks and KV Sridhar Reddy’s Sri Dhanalakshmi productions, while the film is being presented by Aditya Movies.

The film received a grand launch ceremony held at Rama Naidu Studios in Hyderabad where most of the film’s core team also appeared for the auspicious event, along with a number of film and media personalities. Akhil Raj's film will get the music music by the well-known music director Suresh Bobbili, with his score expected to reflect the rustic background and emotional drama of the film. The makers are all set to start regular shooting soon.

The title poster, which was recently revealed, offers a strong visual representation of the Telangana culture. The title Shanarthi is a traditional Telangana greeting, right here, portrayed through a beautifully crafted visual of two hands coming together in bright turmeric yellow-and-vermillion red hues. Wrist threads and red bangles complete the cultural vibe-a perfect match for the tagline “A Tale of Culture”. The trailer inspires an immersive story steeped in local culture, traditions and festivities.
