Sara Arjun Chooses Substance Over Stardom as She Begins Her Tollywood Journey
Sara Arjun continues to be in the news with her extraordinary performances and now she wants to have her own space in Telugu film industry. Following pandering of audiences and critics alike for her performance with Ranveer Singh in Dhurandhar, she is now making a bold debut in Telugu with a potent lead role in Gunasekhar’s Euphoria.
Yet, as we know, the industry is no stranger of her and she needs to tread carefully in Tollywood as well. Her manager says that even though her role in Euphoria is a powerful one, also significant from a social point of view, it might take some time for mainstream offers to come after.
“For the type of role you are choosing, you will get more offers from the Bollywood as compared to Tollywood,” he said.
He also released why she might have chosen a role which is not hugely commercial in nature and could take time before she appears in a lead romantic track opposite any of the big names in the Telugu film industry. “It is a character based role which she wanted to do because she wanted to narrate a different message through a different story, she wants to establish her with audiences as an artiste who values content,” he said.
